How VOLA came about

Our
Story

VOLA was the brain child of Paul Cunningham, chair of the Eastern Landlords association, who felt that despite representing tens of thousands of landlords, smaller associations are not being listened to by local or national government.   The ELA set about contacting other landlords associations with a view to connecting, collaborating and creating a louder voice for the smaller associations.  Several associations responded to the call, and VOLA was formed.

VOLA is driven by these associations, with many having full representation on the board and have direct voting rights on the priorities and projects of VOLA so all are fairly represented.

Vola is currently made up of

  • The Eastern Landlords Association

  • The British Landlords Association

  • Leeds Property Association

  • Devon Landlords Association

  • + 2 further associations who do not wish to be named
